SU Adventure Lodge is in Whakapapa Village, Mt Ruapehu. It offers affordable accommodation for youth groups, community groups and families skiing and tramping around Tongariro National Park.
Adventure Lodge sleeps 24 in four downstairs bunkrooms, + mattresses for further 8 guests (Max 32). Upstairs is an open-plan living area and kitchen. The lodge has a heat pump and is well-equipped for snow adventurers with a boot room and two drying rooms. Two bathrooms each include two toilets and two showers.
Shuttles to Whakapapa ski field and the Tongariro Alpine Crossing leave from Bruce Road. Stunning local walks such as Taranaki Falls and Silica Rapids begin nearby. Cafes and restaurants, including The Chateau, just minutes away in Whakapapa, offer a choice of dining after a day of action on the mountain.
